The Australian Bedding Company and its Commercial Division (ABC Commercial Living) is a Canberra based Company that has been supplying products to the University accommodation industry Australia wide for over 25 years.
A family business operated by husband and wife team, Mark and Henrietta Dennison and their daughter Michelle. The Mitchell store and workshop is the fastest growing bed manufacturer and supplier to government and tertiary institutions in the Canberra region.
Their workmanship has by far transcended the local area with much of their commercial product finding its way to destinations throughout Australia.
Australian Bedding Company's Commercial division appreciate that the requirements of student accommodation differs from that of standard accommodation so many of our products are tailored to be more robust, more economical and more easily obtained if replacement is required.
With an ever growing product range our Company’s goal of being a one stop supplier has allowed us the opportunity to supply a majority of the Universities throughout Australia.
1997
Mark Dennison & Henrietta Dennison started Australian Bedding Company, beginning with waterbeds from their garage in Evatt.
2001
ABC moves into it first shopfront in Mitchell. Manufacturing our own innerspring mattresses, employing more staff and supporting the local community.
2003
After production needs soared we moved to to a bigger warehouse and bigger retail showroom in Mitchell.
2009
This year we were successful in winning our first construction job to fit out a newly built student accommodation.
2011
ABC won a national tender to supply Dept of Defence with LIA furniture. This has given us the opportunity to travel around Australia while doing what we love.
2022
On the 31st July 2022
we proudly celebrated 25 years in Business.
